1947 Lincoln Continental 12 Cylinder Convertible

One of only 700 built in the model year.

Finished in unmarked metallic burgundy with black lined hood, red carpets, black leather trim piped in red and transparent steering wheel in maroon.

Hydraulic hood & windows with new pump and auxiliaries just fitted and push button door handles. The body was completely stripped down to bare metal and repainted from a rust free base.

Flat head 12 cylinder, 5 litre engine recently rebuilt by Steve Webb. 3 speed column change gear box with free wheel and new clutch.

New set of full size white wall tyres, full rear spats & outside rear spare wheel cover in steel.

The car has spent a lot of time in a private collection in Switzerland and we believe it to be the only Lincoln Continental 12 cylinder convertible offered for sale in the UK.
